Sightseeing

We left Vancouver on Wednesday & drove to Chimacum to an Escapees RV park.
On thursday we drove to Chimacum & Port Townsend. Chimacum is just a small town, but Port Townsend is a thriving port town & it's where you can catch a ferry to Whidbey Island.
It is located on Admiralty Inlet, on the Quimper Peninsula, which is part of Puget Sound.
Port Townsend is noted for it's Victorian-Era architecture.
The troll haven is outside of Sequim & a gentleman in the park told John about it. We thought it was a pretty neat thing - must have been very time consuming to carve all those trolls. There is a web site if anyone is interested in more facts about Brandy's Troll Haven.
Today we drove to the troll haven and then on to Port Angeles along route 101.
You can get a ferry here that goes to Victoria, Canada on Vancouver Island.
There is a huge paper plant here & we saw logs in the water being moved by tugs the last time we were here.
We will be doing more sightseeing in the next couple days - so more pictures to come.

Hey Ya'll,

I like the Chimacum Park and I "love" Port Angeles, we had breakfast at the little restaurant just as you come into town on the right hand side, right on the water. :-)

I thought the Troll Haven was sooo cute ~ great picutures, I feel like I'm right there with ya'll .... sounds like you're having a great time traveling.

Oh, so that was a "viking" troll, for a minute there I thought it was John..... ha ha ha ha, I'm way too funny~
