We left Neah Bay on Saturday and drove south to go see the Hoh Rain Forest. We by-passed the town of Forks - too expensive - and ended up at the Hard Rain Cafe & Mercantile. It is on the same road as the rain forest & much cheaper & funkier.
Today we went to the rain forest. As you can see from the pictures, there were lots and lots of tall spruce trees and maple trees. They were all covered with different mosses. We walked a 3/4 mile pathway & that's where all the pictures were taken.
Thankfully, even though we were in a rain forest, it didn't rain while we were there.
We have decided that the word 'windy' that we've been using, doesn't exist. We should have been saying curvy or winding to describe the roads.
