Tuesday, we drove south to Poulsbo, with Buckeye with us. We first tried to find a vet for her for her rabies shot. We found one, but couldn't get in until Wednesday. We crossed the Hood Canal to get to Poulsbo. It had just been reopened after some construction. The whole area of Puget Sound is full of bridges and ferries. There are loads of islands in the sound, too.
On Wednesday we just stayed home waiting for Buckeye's appointment. It ended up being at 4:30. She is now good to go for another year.
On Thursday, we left Chimacum and drove west to Neah Bay. It took almost 5 hours, because the the road was very twisty & curvy. But, it was a pretty drive. Neah Bay is the westernmost point in the lower 48 states. It is an indian reservation - the Makah Indians.
We will tour around tomorrow & post any pictures tomorrow night.
