Spokane Riverside park

These are all pictures of Riverside Park in downtown Spokane

This area was created for a world's fair in the 70's. After the fair, it was turned into this park. There are lots of pathways covering this huge park. And, besides the carousel, & fountain, there is a gondola that takes you across the falls, an IMax theater, and an interpretive center. Plus all the tourist shops and resturants.

Isn't this park great? We loved it when we went last September and the slide is as fun as it looks along with the merry-go-round. My only regret was not getting to spend more time wandering around. Hope you didn't waste your money on the gondola - it was hot and too short for what the ride ended up being.

What a "pretty" and "neat" park :-)

We're in S. Denver for Swanee's Bday (and his last dr appt) will be back home on Friday 8/14 :-)
