A canyon we got to drive through
From waaay up to the valley below
The Vermilion Cliffs
More Vermilion Cliffs...
We are now interested in the 'falling rocks' signs along the roads - heard where a man was killed by one falling through his windshield - imagine one of these coming through your windshield
The road to the top
These buffalo were crossing the road in front of us, just after we entered the park
This bull was a little close - huh? He kept watching us to make sure the herd was across the street before we drove on.
Terrible forest fires along the road to the rim
The view from the north rim...
... and down into the canyon
On our way out - the buffalo were tired from holding up the tourists
More of the wildfire damage
And of course, John's first In 'N Out since May. (one day short of 17 weeks)
